Demolay at Freedom Fest 2025

The Laurens Chapter of the Order of DeMolay proudly participated in the Laurens City Freedom Festival on July 3rd, 2025, serving as both a community partner and official sponsor of the event.

Throughout the day, chapter members engaged with fellow young men and their families, sharing the mission of DeMolay and encouraging youth to explore the values of leadership, service, and brotherhood. By connecting directly with the public, the chapter raised awareness of the opportunities DeMolay offers to young men ages 12–21.

Following the spectacular grand finale fireworks show, members of the Laurens Chapter demonstrated their commitment to community service by assisting city officials with cleanup efforts. The young men helped reset the city square by collecting trash, repositioning tables and chairs, and taking down event tents and signage.

Their efforts exemplify the DeMolay virtues of civic responsibility, teamwork, and service to others.
