State Officers enjoy retreat weekend in Myrtle Beach

2015 State Officers Retreat

On September 25th, the Palmetto DeMolay Association Officers kicked off the State Officer retreat at Cypress Camping Resort. On Friday, the brothers got to know each other well and spent time with each other playing board games and conversing with each other. The officers had a conference about communication and IT the next morning and had a ceremony practice. The knowledge learned equipped the officers with a basic understanding as to how to become effective leaders within the state. After breaking for lunch, the DeMolay enjoyed the amenities at the campground with each other, including kayaking and paddle boating. They continued the night with seafood at a calabash restaurant nearby, and finished the night with games of man hunt and various board and card games. On Sunday, the Association and Officers broke to head on our ways home, having entered as followers and exited as well-functioning leaders.
